EHF 2020/2021 TITLE DESIGN PITCH
At LiquidTV I devised and developed the pitch for the European Handball Federation broadcast graphics. In all there were four title sequences to develop ideas for.
NETFLIX'S THE ENGLISH GAME TITLES
At LiquidTV I devised and developed the pitch for the English Game title sequence. Below are selection of the frames and animation tests that won us the pitch. In the end the client decided to use a static title card, but either way, it was still a fun project to work on.
BBC EUROS 2020
At LiquidTV I devised and developed the pitch for the Euros title sequence. Below are a selection of the frames and animation tests that we created for the pitch. Splashes of striking colour, fast paced editing, playful stop motion and slick 3D animation was combined to form a coalition of Europe’s great teams.
At LiquidTV I devised and developed the pitch for the the BBC series Disaster Force. I wanted
a concept that felt contemporary and eye catching. The graphics sitting within a stylised, modern, interface referencing the technical, bold aesthetic of Weather station monitors.
Distortion and Glitches were going to be used to give the impression of weather interference, alongside fluid, 2D animation.
For the ultimate dramatic effect, the designs would be overlaid with dirt, scratches, water, fingerprints etc. to give them a raw, tactile feel as if battered by the elements.
THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR
At Jellyfish Pictures I devised and developed the pitch for a history series on the American Civil War. The brief was to come up with a creative way to show archive footage and imagery as well as developing a look and feel to incorporate green screen shot footage reenacting dramatic scenarios.
THE CITY AND THE CITY
I was invited by Peter Anderson Studio to develop a series of style frames for the BBC series The City and the City.
